The Board is comprised of community leaders representing private industry, nonprofits, and public agencies.  The Workforce Investment Board is mandated by federal legislation to oversee public investments in employment and training programs. This responsibility is accomplished through the activities of the Imperial County Workforce Development Offices.

The Board meets every 4th Wednesday of the month at 12:00 noon at the El Centro One Stop Center.
