Standing Committees

Business & Planning Committee:
The committee strategizes and oversees the outreach and delivery of business services to meet the workforce needs of high-demand sectors of the local and regional economies.  Analyzes and understand trends in order to respond to local business needs.  Additionally, the committee is tasked with focusing on the local and regional plans that establish the overall vision and strategy for the local and regional workforce.

Meeting Date/Time: The committee meets every third Thursday at 12:00 p.m. on a bimonthly basis, or as when needed.

One Stop Policy Oversight Committee:
The committee is responsible for the creation of and adherence to all ICWDB policies in accordance with WIOA directives.  The committee also provides information to assist with operational and other issues relating to the One-Stop delivery system and partnering service providers.  Information and assistance related to the provision of services to individuals with disabilities, including issues relating to compliance with WIOA section 188-Nondiscrimination, if applicable, and are also provided through the committee.

Meeting Date/Time:  The committee meets every third Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. on a bimonthly basis, or as when needed.

Youth Committee:
The committee is responsible for providing information and to assist with planning, operational, and other issues relating to the provision of services to youth.  In addition, the committee is responsible for the oversight of the WIOA Youth Program that provides eligible youth, with emphasis on Out-of-School Youth, various opportunities and services to help them be successful in the workforce and classroom.

Meeting Date/Time: The committee meets every second Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. on a bimonthly basis, or as when needed.
