The Imperial County Workforce Development Board (ICWDB) serves as an advisory board to the County of Imperial Board of Supervisors. ICWDB members are appointed to serve by their respective Board of Supervisor. The Board is comprised of community leaders representing private industry, nonprofits, and public agencies and is mandated by federal legislation to oversee public investments in employment and training programs. This responsibility is accomplished through the activities of the Imperial County Workforce Development Office.
The California Employment Development Department in partnership with the Imperial County Workforce Development Board and other various local government agencies will be hosting a Youth Job Fair on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Imperial Valley Mall-Food Court. The Imperial County Workforce Developmnt Board, with approval from the Imperial County Board of Supervisors, is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the following: Soft Skills Training Provider for PY2017-2018. RFPs may be downloaded below or in person at the ICWDB office located at 2799 S. 4th Steet in El Centro, CA. A Technical Assistance Workshop is scheduled on June 27, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Proposals must be submitted at the ICWDB office by Friday, July 14, 2017, no later than 5:00 p.m.
