Training Providers

Eligible Training Providers

The Imperial County Workforce Development Board is accepting applications from training providers in order to be listed on the Eligible Training Providers List (ETPL) and receive Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Funds to offer trainings in Imperial County.

Training programs must be in locally or state-defined demand occupations. Training programs must achieve a minimum 70% entered employment rate or higher in the training occupational area within 2 years of nomination and maintain that rate every year thereafter.

ETPL Process

Interested training providers are required to be accredited by a State of California accrediting organization before any application will be considered and must complete the following steps:

Step 1

Complete and submit Local Area Application to ICWDB staff

Step 2

Register an account on the CalJOBS home page www.caljobs.ca.gov by creating a User Name and Password

Enter the required account information about the provider agency (FEID number of the institution, indicate the institution type, include the contact information pertaining to the provider)

Notify ICWDB staff that the institution's information is ready for activation.

Step 3

After account activation, enter the required training program information by “Managing Institution Programs” and recommend it for WIOA eligibility.
